Chris (Inappropriate Pirate) enthusiastically reviewed a fantastic set of 16 Pirates of the Caribbean minifigures, showcasing beloved characters such as Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, and Blackbeard.

He was particularly impressed by the vibrant printing details, the fun assembly process, and the creative stands that add extra charm. While acknowledging they aren’t quite Lego-quality, Chris passionately highlights their unbeatable affordability and perfect fit for imaginative photography and storytelling adventures.

Pirates of the Caribbean Minifigures

This set of 16 great looking minifigures comprises of:

Three variations of Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, Maccus, Will Turner, Bootstrap Bill Turner, Hadras, Blackbeard, Angelica, Mr Gibbs, Scrum, Gunner Zombie, Mermaid, King George’s Officer and a random pirate with no affiliation to the franchise.

There are some interesting pieces and I like the little stands that they come with, which have a little turntable built in and a pirate design printed on them.

They would make an excellent crew for any Pirate Ship, but particularly the recent JMBricklayer Black Pearl set.

The printing on the figures is really nicely done and I think they will look great for my posts with the cartoony art style I use sometimes. I was also really pleased to get a Davy Jones character without having to sell a kidney.

You have to assemble all the parts for the figures, which is quite fun and makes them a bit like a mini set.

Bear in mind that as with any alternative brand minifigure that I’ve come across, they are not the same quality as Lego’s minifigures, but they are substantially more cost effective. So it really all depends on personal preference and what you want to use them for. I mostly will use them for photography in my Sigfig’s adventures, and for that they are ideal.
